the screen-printing process
Screen Printing or silk screening is a printing process used to print both clothing and non-clothing items. It is the standard printing method for the T-shirt Industry. Screen-printing is a process where a design, drawing, or other format is converted to a film, and the film is transferred to a screen.
The number of screens for any design is based on the number of colors in the design. Inks are then transferred through the tiny dots in the screen to the garment in the proper order to achieve the desired result. The process involves exact pressures, specialized inks, and heat curing, which results in a long-lasting design that resists fading. ARCA Ink has a lot of experience in screen-printing. We can print complex designs, full color artwork, and intricate fades.

embroidery
The embroidery process consists of two steps: The first step, called embroidery digitizing, allows us to take your logo or image and turn it into a special file that tells the embroidery machine what to do. The digitizing process involves converting artistic elements into embroidery objects.
The second step, the actual embroidery stitching, consists of fixing the area of the garment to be embroidered in a device called a hoop; attaching the garment to the embroidery machine so that it can be embroidered; and removing extraneous stitches accumulated during the embroidery process and removing the backing material used to stabilize the fabric during embroidery.
ARCA Ink is very experienced in both processes. Your complete satisfaction is our goal. Please do not hesitate to call us with any questions or concerns about your order. |
